Rancho Guejito Vineyard
Located three miles east of SD Safari Park on Hwy 78, historic Rancho Guejito, est. 1845, is almost 23,000 acres (36 sq. miles) of landscape, virtually untouched from a time when California was but a colonial province of Mexico. The area now hosts a vineyard open to the public every Sunday. Featuring a hay bale tractor tour of a blooming citrus groves and vineyard, live acoustic music is performed by local artists and gourmet food is available from various area food trucks (selection differs weekly). Enjoy tractor tours, yard games, and free walks around the farmhouse grounds.
Wines are crafted from the nurtured vineyards of the historic Ranch, and grown among isolated meadows, high mountains, forests of Coulter pines, and centuries old, rare Engelmann Oak woodlands.
