It would be easy to assume this brewpub’s status as the most far-removed of Vista’s many brewing companies is the reason it’s the least talked about, but it’s the quality of its beer — or lack thereof — that is the culprit, not geography. A nice enough place with decent food, its ales, which are produced on a jerry-rigged system and taste like it (flat, bland, flabby), simply don’t cut the mustard or merit an excursion to northern Vista when so many better options exist much closer to State Route 78.
