A former member of the defunct Firehouse Brewing Company quietly opened this new business. Despite being near the fast-beating heart of San Diego’s en vogue North Park neighborhood, it has remained under the radar and outside drinkers’ craft consciousness. Beers are average to subpar, and the business has been marketed more around a comely wait staff than the brewer or his beers. It’s really more a casual bar than a tasting room.
