If nothing else, Ponce's can stake a claim to legitimate venerability. The family-owned restaurant has been in business since 1969, and if the still-busy dining room is an indication, the years will keep on ticking by. More about good atmosphere and margaritas that blend equal parts cheap and tasty than standout food — although the menu is perfectly suitable — Ponce's is a cool place to hang out with family and friends. One thing that really leaps off the menu is the Mexi-style chile relleno burger. Served in a torta roll and spread with guacamole, it's quite a sandwich.
