An example of smart growth, what was once one of the county’s smallest nanos has grown into a business that now bottles its beers and offers them at a pair of locations. Though larger, Mother Earth remains the family-run, proud-to-be-Vistan interest it’s always been. Production of a large number of constantly rotating styles detracted from consistency early on, but increased production of its core line for packaging has helped to alleviate that to some extent. The company’s original tasting room recently reopened after being closed while the brewery component was upgraded.
