After taking over the original home of Green Flash Brewing Company, brewmaster Kevin Buckley (formerly of Alpine Beer Co. and Back Street Brewery) went about crafting a line of beers employing small tweaks to make for big flavors. Latitude 33’s brown ale gets a dose of rye, its porter a shot of vanilla, and an oatmeal stout a continually increasing amount of coffee. While not revolutionary, such additions are made more deftly than many others. Lesser-seen seasonally produced styles like biere de mars and wheatwine add even more variety.
