Jamul Casino
14145 Campo Road, Jamul, CA 91935
The $460 million, 200,000 square-foot casino on Campo Road, off Highway 94 about 15 miles from Chula Vista and 20 miles from downtown, was built in 2016. It took more than 15 years to get the government permissions and private funding to build the Casino, which occupies four of the Jamul Tribe’s six-acre reservation in East County.
Formerly known as Hollywood Casino, it was renamed when operations went from the Penn National Gaming Corp., which owns the Hollywood Casinos chain of 27 gambling properties, to the Jamul Indian Village Development Corp.
