It’s either the most overrated burger joint in the universe, or Hodad’s is the brick-and-mortar embodiment of all that is San Diego...we’re not 100% sure. Either way, if you have one weekend in Ocean Beach, and you don’t go to Hodad’s, you’ve missed something vital. Imagine if there was only one In-n-Out Burger, and you would have the basic idea behind Hodad’s. Aim for off-hours, since the line for burgers grows obscene during peak dinner service.
