Che Café
1000 Scholars Drive, San Diego, CA 92093
The Ché Café was established on UCSD's campus in 1980 and has been a staple to San Diego's music scene since its conception. The venue has hosted a number of notable internationally touring acts such as Billy Corgan, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, Rise Against, and many more. The venue also opens its doors to the community for fundraisers, art shows, theatrical acts, and other events, many of which are hosted for UCSD clubs and organizations.
2015 found the venue battling its University host, causing the operation to be closed and reopened several times over the next few years.
