The first San Diego brewing operation to open post-Prohibition has been revived in La Mesa. This municipality's first-ever brewery, it features a brewery situated in a Quonset hut mimicking Bolt's original location in Fallbrook. That structure gives way to a multilevel all-outdoor tasting space featuring a tap-equipped bar installed in the shell of a shipping container.
Bolt Brewery sets up its own outdoor stage in between its beer garden bar and Quonset hut brewhouse, where bands play on weekends.
