Bancroft Ranch House Museum
9050 Memory Lane, Spring Valley, CA 91977
The museum houses indigenous Indian artifacts and memorabilia of early settlers in the area, run by Spring Valley Historical Society. The home, built in 1863, was registered as a National Historic Landmark in 1962 and is on a spot where Kumeyaay Indians camped more than 1000 years ago beside the spring that later gave the area its name.
