Live music provided the backbeat for weekend partying, while on weeknights, harried suit-clad members of the nine-to-five set trickled into this split-level spot to drown workday blues: fitting for a storefront converted to a liquor lair. Serving simple food items, wine, craft beer, and sake cocktails, the venue thrived for several years, but then closed. It came back briefly as the Loading Dock, then ditched live jazz for sports.
