It’s mashed potatoes. Maybe I like the fact that they’re warm, I don’t have to chew them, they’re filling. They’re easy on my teeth. It’s also a feeling of home. I make them once in a while, getting the beater out. I probably have them once a week.

My comfort food is probably sushi. I know that seems like a weird choice, but when my wife and I have our date nights, that’s when we get it. So, we probably have it once a week. I didn’t have it for the first time until I was 40. And I really liked it. Brunch is also a time we have our comfort foods.

Chocolate. Anything chocolate. What else is there? I probably have chocolate daily, too. Dark chocolate is my favorite. And, now that I hear it’s good for the heart, I can use that as an excuse. Yeah, I eat chocolate all the time.

I can answer this one easy. Chicken noodle soup. It just makes me think of that warm and fuzzy feeling you get on a cold, rainy day when all you need is something warm to make you feel good.

I haven’t really thought about it. I guess chicken noodle soup if I’m sick. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes are always a good comfort food. That probably reminds most people of home. I’m not sure if most people eat comfort foods when they’re out at a restaurant or if that’s what they cook at home for themselves.

It would be french fries. My comfort drink is vodka cranberry. With french fries, I could probably eat them every day. I limit myself to having them once a week, though. I’m guessing potatoes, in all the variety of ways they can be cooked, are most people’s comfort food.
