Deborah Jean Gadzala

Deborah Jean Gadzala, age 41, passed away on July 17, 2016, in San Diego, California, of addiction-related causes. Born in Arizona, she spent much of her life in San Diego and lived briefly in Barstow, California with her fiancé. A loving mother, she found solace in reading, writing, music, and surrealist artwork. She is survived by her mother, Gail; brothers Patrick and Andy; sister Abigail; four children ages 15, 13, and twins, 8; and fiancé, Nathan and his son, age 7. During her twenties she traveled extensively with the San Diego band Crash Worship. She loved peacocks, elephants, tuberoses, peonies, chocolate, and was prominent with the local music scene, supporting bands such as Three Mile Pilot, Drive Like Jehu, and the Night Marchers.
