David Michael Honadle

August 31, 1999 - November 30, 2016

David Michael Honadle, age 17, of Ramona, CA, passed away with peace in his heart on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. David was born on August 31, 1999, to his parents, David J. and Christina E. (Adams) Honadle. David was a junior at Mountain Valley Academy in Ramona. He also attended Palomar College taking woodworking classes. He led the school drama crew and cherished his time with his "drama" family. David loved to fish with his dad anywhere there was water. He was fascinated with how things worked and he could fix anything. His infectious smile brightened every room. When he got his drivers permit he was adamant about being a donor. After David passed, he was honored with a Medal for being a hero and saving a number of lives in his selfless act of donating his organs and tissue to those in need. Some would say he was "the whole package". He was a kind, respectful, caring, person that would help anyone in need. He was a friend to all. David was nominated by his classmates for being the person you would most like to be stranded on a deserted island with. David is survived by his parents, Dave and Chris Honadle of Ramona; sister, Sydney; brother, Aidan; grandparents, Mike and Glenda Adams; grandfather, David E. Honadle; Aunt Kelly, Uncle Mike and Uncle Alan; cousins, Delaney, Heidi, Kendall, Michael and Josie; along with great-grandparents, great aunts and uncles, great-great aunts and uncles, and many other second cousins that all filled his life with love. David had many people in his life that were not blood family but were family just the same and completed our circle of love for David. A private family burial will take place on Friday, December 9, 2016, followed by a celebration of David's Life on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 1pm at Hidden Oaks, 19121 Camino Vista Rd., Ramona, CA 92065. In lieu of flowers, David's family has asked that donations be made to Friends of Rollo on behalf of David Michael Honadle. Donations can be placed by calling 858-350-5870 ext. 103 or sending directly to: Friends of Rollo, 2580 Ingraham St., San Diego, CA 92109. Bonham Bros & Stewart Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/lajollalight/obituary.aspx?n=david-michael-honadle&pid=183028400#sthash.miXooMMm.dpuf
