Pilates in the Flower Fields

The 55-acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up the flower fields at Carlsbad Ranch are in bloom for approximately six to eight weeks each year, from early March through early May. Join for a golden hour pilates. Admission to The Flower Fields is included with your ticket. Enjoy wagon rides, a butterfly encounter, a sweet pea maze, gem sluicing, and food trucks.

K. Flay 

Alt-electronic hip-hop artist Kristine Meredith Flaherty, better known as K.Flay, is a singer, songwriter, and rapper with five studio albums to her credit. Among the musicians she cites as influences are Royal Blood, Missy Elliott, Garbage, Lauryn Hill, Tame Impala, Jeremih, Metric, M.I.A., OutKast, Liz Phair, Cat Power, and Shlohmo. She has lost hearing in her right ear in 2022 due to sudden sensorineural hearing loss and has since adapted to performing and living with this condition. K.Flay is touring in support of her 2023 album Mono.

Nature Walk at Mission Trails

Join a trail guide on a nature walk and learn about the plants, animals, geology, history, and ecology of the Mission Trails Regional Park. The recent rains have brought back a bit of green to the park. Hike the Oak Grove Loop, showcasing coast live oaks, rare Engelmann’s oaks, and a Kumeyaay ‘ewaa (hut), or the Visitor Center Loop, which has coastal sage scrub, chaparral, riparian woodland habitats, and riverside grinding rocks.
