Acqua E Farina Trattoria Romana will be offering casarece alla Norma: pasta in a tomato sauce with garlic, roasted eggplant, basil, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese. Teriyaki Grill will be offering prime beef tossed in Peruvian chimichurri sauce. Mujer Divina Burrito & Coffeehouse will be serving chorizo and potato burritos with beans.

Umphrey’s McGee was formed in the late 1990s in South Bend, Indiana, while the members were attending the University of Notre Dame. The band experiments with many musical styles, including rock, metal, funk, jazz, blues, reggae, electronic, bluegrass, country, and folk. They have toured regularly and released several albums, including their newest from 2022, Asking For a Friend.

The Julian countryside is full of daffodil blooms each spring, and this annual show celebrates the “flower of hope”. Daffodils will be on display and eligible for awards in both adult and youth categories. Daffodil Society experts will be on hand to answer questions. Children’s “Watercolors of Daffodils” art will also be showcased.

The volunteer run, community street fair will have over 100 vendors, artists and makers, and local food trucks. Free all day concert on the main stage with music from La Mesa Arts Academy Jazz Band, The Brothers Burns, La Diabla, Lady Dottie & The Diamonds, and The Beat Farmers. The beer garden will have a view of the stage and serve local craft beers and breweries. Kids can enjoy the $5 play-all-day zone of inflatables, climbing walls, games, and crafts.

Check out San Diego’s intertidal zone on this naturalist-led Tidepooling Eco Tour. Walk through the tide pools while identifying and interacting with the species that live there. The guide will teach you about local ecology and conservation, as well as how to use iNaturalist, a tool for identifying and recording species. At the end, there will be a scavenger hunt and treasure chest for the winners.
