The San Diego Rodeo is the only rodeo ever held in Petco Park, celebrating the spirit and history of California’s Western culture in the heart of downtown San Diego.

San Diego Rodeo

A three-day event showing some of the world’s top rodeo cowboys participating for more than $800,000 in prize money. San Diego’s history of rodeo culture dates back hundreds of years and will continue to incorporate cultural practices featuring local charros. New for 2025, there will be daily rodeo after parties of musical performances from top country musicians. Friday night: Elle King, Saturday: Ryan Bingham and the Texas Gentlemen, and Championship Sunday: Colter Wall.

Wood, A Furniture Show

A gathering of some of the very best furniture makers in Southern California showing their work at the Escondido Arts Partnership.

Wood, A Furniture Show will showcase new paintings and wood art sculptures of images such as the award-winning garden in The Escondido Historic District to the skies of the Pacific Ocean in San Diego. Scottish heritage will be celebrated at the opening reception by a poetry reading from poems by Robert Burns, author of Auld Lang Syne, and Celtic fiddle music.

When: Saturday, January 11, 4 pm to 7 pm

Oddities & Curiosities Expo

Tony and Michelle Cozzaglio created the Oddities & Curiosities Expo, the largest internationally traveling oddities event featuring taxidermy, preserved specimens, original artwork, horror/halloween inspired pieces, antiques, handcrafted oddities, creepy clothing, odd jewelry, animal skulls/bones, funeral collectibles & much more.


The Oddities & Curiosities Expo is full of hand selected vendors, dealers, artists, and small businesses from over the country with all things weird. You’ll find items such as: taxidermy, preserved specimens, original artwork, horror/halloween inspired pieces, antiques, handcrafted oddities, quack medical devices, creepy clothing, odd jewelry, skulls and bones, and funeral collectibles.

When: Saturday, January 11, and Sunday, January 12, 10 am to 4 pm
