Pacific Beach native and local rock icon John Reis has performed in Hot Snakes, Pitchfork, Drive Like Jehu, Rocket From the Crypt, and the Night Marchers, among many others. His Swami Sound System radio show, co-created with 94/9 FM programmer Mike Halloran, ran for seven years. The debut Swami & the Bed of Nails album grew out of writing sessions for Hot Snakes before Rick Froberg's untimely passing. Their album All Of This Awaits You was released last year. The bill includes Permissive Rot.

Gabriele Dagrezio was in his early 20s when he first made his mark on the music world in the band The New Story, who released two albums and reached the number one slot on MTV Total Request and a nomination as Best New Artist in 2008. He followed that up with a journey around the world to study the sounds of other cultures, eventually landing in Australia, where he earned a Music Degree in Contemporary Guitar and Songwriting in 2021 while playing at private and public events. He’s now based in San Diego and performing solo at various venues around town.

Singer-songwriter Matt Heinecke has over two decades of professional experience as an accomplished singer, guitarist, and acoustic troubadour. He’s become a regular presence at local eateries, lounges, and hotels specializing in light entertainment. In concert, he performs solo, with a repertoire that covers a wide range of genres, from classic rock to ‘80s and ‘90s pop, top 40, jazz, and solo classical guitar.

Ben Benavente specializes in Hawaiian and island style music, citing Jack Johnson, Bruno Mars, and local star Jason Mraz among his influences. He calls his music a “softer reggae,” creating entire songs on the fly by looping and pre-recording the drums, piano, and bass guitar, and then accompanying himself by singing live and playing ukulele.
