Boys will be boys

Mr. Musk actually went even further than the "dumber than a sack of bricks" comment, dubbing his opponent in the tariff tiff "Peter Retarrdo." It's always nice to see a local boy make good, so let's take a brief look back at how we got here from there, shall we?

Remember the '90s? Good times. Seems like every time you turned around, Peter Navarro was running for some office or another. He wrote about the experience for us: four cover stories' worth.

It never quite panned out, and Navarro slunk off to academia. But F. Scott Fitzgerald was wrong: America is full of second acts, and Navarro's started when he found his great enemy: China. And his great friend: Trump. It took some legwork, and there were definitely some bumps in the road at first, but Pete persisted, and just look where he is today. Smack dab in the middle of the biggest story in America. Maybe someday he'll even qualify as a Famous Former Neighbor!
