Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas
Singer Mickey Thomas has been a mainstay of classic rock for five decades, beginning with his stint in Elvin Bishop’s band, where he sang their biggest hit “Fooled Around And Fell In Love.” He was the first singer to step in for the departing Grace Slick when she left Jefferson Starship, and he remained with the band after her return, singing on such radio singles as “We Built This City,” “Jane,” “Sara,” “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” and “Find Your Way Back.” His touring version of Starship also plays songs from the Jefferson Airplane era.

Art-pop and indie-rock band Rubblebucket features musical partners Annakalmia Traver and Alex Toth, who have continued to share a band even after splitting up as a couple. The duo has also survived cancer and battles with alcoholism, while managing to record over a dozen albums and EPs, the newest of which was released in 2024, Year of the Banana, based on a book written by Traver in 2015.
