Join Ligaya Malones, Deanna Sandoval and local chefs and restauranteurs for a conversation about the evolution of San Diego's dynamic culinary scene, and the people and places serving up local flavor and putting our region on the foodie map.


Warwick’s celebrates the launch of San Diego Cooks: Recipes from the Region’s Favorite Eateries, Bakeries, and Bars, a new cookbook featuring 70 recipes highlighting iconic dishes and drinks from the area’s top dining destinations.

Enjoy traditional Bavarian decor, food and drinks, and the return of the ferris wheel. Biergarten performances by German Polka bands, indie rock jams, and brass musicians. Race down the street through a mini obstacle course, see who can roll their beer barrel the fastest from one end of the course to the other, and team up for tug-o-war.

When: Friday, October 4, 4 pm to 10 pm, Saturday, October 5, 10 am to 10 pm, and Sunday, October 6, 12 pm to 8 pm

Eric Darius and Marcus Anderson, Julian Vaughn & Lin Rountree play Saturday's Champagne Jazz Series at Thornton Winery.


Saxophonist, vocalist, songwriter, producer, and educator Eric Darius has landed on the contemporary jazz charts with recording done for labels including Blue Note, Higher Octave, Shanachie, and Narada. Saxophonist Marcus Anderson is a two-time Grammy winner, as well as a Stellar Award nominee. The show will be opened by Julian Vaughn & Lin Rountree.
