The Frights at Soma

Surf-punkers the Frights were teens when their recording career was launched in 2013 by Soma manager Joe Nammo, who released their debut on his Postmark label. They’ve gone on to play at Coachella and the BottleRock Napa Valley festival, and have five albums to their credit, including last year’s Gallows Humour.

The Sleepwalkers at Winstons Beach Club

The Sleepwalkers have been playing authentic Americana since 1992. They specialize in original American music styles — from blues, country, Tex-Mex, Cumbia, and their brand of roots rock. Mostly active from 1992 to 2002, they re-formed in 2013. The bill includes Planetarius and DJ Ana Brown.

Back to the Garden is an all-star local group recreating the music of the Hollywood Hills/Laurel Canyon folk rock era, featuring the music of the Byrds, the Doors, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Joni Mitchell, the Mamas and the Papas, Carole King, the Eagles, and more. For this Solana Beach performance, the ensemble will pay tribute to the music of the Monterey Pop Festival and Woodstock.

Hailing from San Diego, Andra Day earned two Grammy nominations, for Best R&B Album for her biographical debut Cheers To the Fall and Best R&B Performance for her single “Rise Up.” Her 2024 album Cassandra spawned three hit singles, for “Where Do We Go,” “Probably,” and “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
