Enjoy live music, food zone, craft beer and wine, a pumpkin patch, tons of free and ticketed fall activities for adults and children including lawn games, face painting, and hayrides.

Haunted Ghost Town

The Haunted Ghost Town at Quail Gardens awaits those brave enough to confront the ghostly pirates of Bitter Gulch. Don't miss your chance to face your fears and experience the thrill of a lifetime!


Ovation Theatre and The Heritage Ranch present their annual haunted town: a family-friendly experience set among restored historical buildings and featuring an original ghost story each year. This year, the fictional town of Bitter Gulch has been set upon by a ghostly pirate ship. “Trick-or-treat” tours will be offered from 5 pm to 6:30 pm each night, with spookier tours later in the evening.

When: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 5 pm to 8:45 pm. Through Sunday, October 27.

Where: San Dieguito Heritage Museum. 450 Quail Gardens Drive, Encinitas. hauntedtown.org
