Less Than Jake

Less Than Jake is a ska-influenced punk band formed in the early 1990s out of Gainesville, Florida. Following a series of independent seven-inch singles, the group released its debut album Pezcore in 1995. Best known for early 2000s hits such as “She’s Gonna Break Soon” and “The Science of Selling Yourself Short,” the band is on their Final Visit To Rockview 2024 tour. The bill includes Washington D.C. ska-punks band Kill Lincoln and Long Island pop-punk group Title Holder.

San Diego International Dragon Boat Race

The San Diego Dragon Boat Team is rooted in a proud tradition that began in 1983, when Singapore presented three dragon boats to “America’s Finest City.” Join us on October 19-20 for the 13th Annual San Diego International Dragon Boat Race.


Corporate teams and club teams will be competing in the 250 meter races and 500 meter races. A “guts and glory” 2000 meter race will be held towards the end of Sunday. The vendor village is back to capacity, and a silent auction will be held. Wander through the village to stop at the booths and support donors.

When: Saturday, October 19, and Sunday, October 20, 8 am to 5 pm
