Debuting in 1993, The Greyboy Allstars includes Rolling Stones sax player Karl Denson and Roger Waters keyboardist Robert Walter. The band will be celebrating their eighth studio album Grab Bag: 2007-2023 (released November 22), with nine previously unreleased tracks, including a cover of Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel.” The two-night bill will feature co-founder DJ Greyboy on Friday and DJ Johnny Basil is guesting on Saturday.

Revolt against hunger by attending an afternoon benefit show in Ocean Beach that kicks off at 2:30 pm with Yuma, Arizona rockers Rude Boy Beto. The bill also includes Austin, Texas band Half Man, and locals Urethane (featuring skateboard hero Steve Caballero) and Jonny Wagon, who was born in Memphis, Tennessee before relocating to San Diego and playing with Behind the Wagon and his own trio.

Scary Pierre is a female fronted rock group featuring Black Hondo singer Lucina Gonzalez, along with guitarist-keyboardist-cellist Alia Jyawook (Vaginals, Hot Nerds). The group will debut their new album Sticky Situation, with opening bands set to include Owl Be Damned, which features singer Douglas Thompson (Low and Be Told, The Marsupials) and drummer Ben Johnson (The Long and Short of It, Hostile Comb-Over). Also appearing will be Hauntu, and the evening includes a DJ set from DJ Mandy Warhol.

Thee Sacred Souls founding duo Alex Garcia and Sal Samano (formerly of Fake Tides) began cutting bedroom demos of rhythm tracks together in 2019. After their first club date, they were signed by Daptone Records producer and co-founder, Bosco Mann (Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings), and within days were recording at Mann’s Riverside studio. The band will play a set peppered with tracks from their recently released sophomore album Got a Story To Tell.
