Birding & Brews: Breakfast Edition

Join Ocean Connectors and sip on smooth, nitro cold brew as you learn about the conservation mission. Ocean Connectors has reached over 40,000 students in underserved communities in San Diego County and Nayarit, Mexico with free environmental education programs. Ocean Connectors students have installed 6,000 native plants at wetlands and natural areas. They have cleared over three acres of invasive weeds and litter. Join for a guided nature walk with binoculars and bird guides to spot native and migratory birds.

When: Thursday, November 21 and Tuesday, November 26, 9 am to 11 am

ZZ Ward

Promoting her recently released Mother EP, ZZ muddies up some of her most well-known tracks to commemorate her blues influence.

Hailing from Oregon, Zsuzsanna Eva Ward signed with Hollywood Records to release her debut studio album in 2012, but it was her sophomore full-length, 2017’s The Storm, that propelled her to the top the Billboard Blues Albums Charts. She’s since cut ties with her former record label, become a mother, and released her first album as an independent artist, Dirty Shine, and an EP called Mother that dropped in October.

The Doggie Street Festival celebrates dog and cat adoption through vendors, services, music, auctions and food for both doggies and humans.


Free admission to visit street vendors and adoption booths. Bring your friendly dog and find pet products and services, vet tips, adoption groups, dog and human food, music, and auction prizes.

When: Saturday, November 23, 9 am to 3 pm
