Fuming over funding
(“UCSD accedes to protesters’ demand for divestment”, SD on the QT, May 23, 2024) So to get rid of all the companies that fund the slaughter of millions of Palestinian people, we the parents have to pay more in housing and tuition for our kids to go to college... yes? Why doesn’t this country spend the billions of dollars they send to everyone else in this world on our future scholars? Spend those billions on this country. I pay my fair share of taxes, as does everyone in my household.
I think we should have a say in where our tax money is spent. I don’t want to fund wars and mass killings, I’d rather spend it on the young adults and their education and future. This country is full of crap when it lets its own people suffer, starve and go homeless while taking care of others outside the United States. No other country would step up and do that.

Some particulars about Universalists
In last week there was a article that featured the Unitarian Church in Chula Vista (“Unitarian Universalist Justine Sullivan wants everyone to get along”, Sheep and Goats, May 17, 2024) and I find them to believe the following: they don’t believe in God and his son Jesus Christ.
They don’t follow and teach from both the Holy Bible and the scriptures about anything that is and of the Bible, and they contradict all teachings in the Holy Bible too and dispute all of what the Bible says. Note that the Holy Bible, according to them, is full of legends and myths and isn’t valid as it is to Christians everywhere. They deny the doctrine of the Trinity, aka Father, Son, Holy Spirit. They think that sin doesn’t exist and that all of the people are essentially good and without sin. They actually are a religious cult and are followers of Satan, who is their only god and who they worship and obey always.

Not revolutionary, evolutionary
(“The Curious Case of the E-Bike”, Cover Story, March 23, 2024) As a bicyclist with sixty years of riding experience, a motorcyclist with fifty years of off-road and on-road riding experience (with no crashes and one citation forty years ago for riding 48 mph in a 45 mph zone), and a mountain biker with forty-five years of experience, I can assure you that e-bike riders are a self-solving problem.
