Hullabaloo at San Diego Botanic Garden

Steve Denyes and Brendan Kremer, aka country-fried children’s music duo Hullabaloo, have won several major national awards, including Parents Choice and NAPPA Gold, plus inclusion on Best of the Year lists from Parents Magazine and Education.com. This past February, on the band’s 20th anniversary, Hullabaloo released their 15th album, Live from Sun Studio. The concert takes place on the Gazebo Lawn.

Stick Figure, featuring Massachusetts native Scott Woodruff on lead guitar, became staples on the outdoor festival circuit after their 2012 album Burial Ground hit number one on the Billboard reggae chart. Their 2016 full-length Set In Stone also topped the Billboard reggae chart. The Sacred Sands Summer Tour bill includes Soja and Little Stranger.
13th Annual Beat Farmers Hootenanny at the Belly Up Tavern

The Beat Farmers were an alternative rock and country music band formed in August 1983 that enjoyed a cult following throughout the 1980s and early 1990s before the premature death of lead singer and drummer Country Dick Montana. Several surviving members of the group, now known as The Farmers, will reunite to pay tribute to the band’s legacy, on a bill that includes guitar icon Albert Lee, Jonny Two Bags, and Sara Petite.

This show celebrates the release of Josh Weinstein’s newest album, Mind the Gap, and the 20-year anniversary since the release of his first collection of original material, Petty Alchemy. Opening acts include Chloe Lou and the Liddells and The Brothers Burns. Weinstein will also be joined by several guests to perform his songs, including Gregory Page, Johnny Vernazza, Jeff Berkley, Ariel Levine, and Chloe Lou.

Jazz pianist Adam Wolff received a music degree while performing and teaching in the New York area. His musical interests encompass jazz, classical, pop/rock, and world music. He currently performs around the San Diego area with a variety of groups and enjoys putting his take on tunes that are not traditionally thought of as jazz.
