Euphoria Brass Band at California Center For the Arts, Escondido

Created in 2011, Euphoria Brass Band is an award winning, seven piece San Diego band. Since recording their first full-length in 2011, they’ve received 11 San Diego Music Award nominations and have become staples of outdoor festivals like Gator by the Bay and Fiesta Del Sol. The bill includes Shane Hall, a San Diego Music Award winner for Best Americana, Jazz or Blues Song.

Roni Lee began her career in Hollywood as lead guitarist for Venus and the Razorblades, a rock band created by Kim Fowley, one of the masterminds behind the Runaways, a group for which Lee later wrote songs. Lee received a gold record for “I Wanna Be Where the Boys Are,” most famously recorded by the Runaways as well as the Razorblades. Also appearing will be Americana blues rocker Ash Easton and The Proper.
The Dale Crover Band at the Casbah

Best known as the drummer for the Melvins, Dale Crover has also been a member of Redd Kross for several years, and he has two solo albums under his belt. He’s touring with longtime Melvins’ studio partner, Toshi Kasai (guitar, keyboards), his Altamont bandmate Dan Southwick (bass), and drummer Mindee Jorgensen (ModPods). The show will be opened with a solo set from local hero Rob Crow (Thingy, Heavy Vegetable, Goblin Cock, etc).
Slightly Stoopid at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre

Ska-flavored pop-punkers Slightly Stoopid played their first paid gig in 1994 at Soma. They recently released their first new music in six years with “Got Me On The Run,” a collaboration with longtime friends Stick Figure and Pepper. The show is co-headlined by Dirty Heads, and the bill includes The Elovaters.
Lily Meola EP Release at the Belly Up Tavern

Lily Meola first earned widespread notice as a contestant on season 17 of America’s Got Talent, where she finished third in the semifinals and was nominated for the Wild Card vote. The Maui native took some time off to care for her terminally ill mother, but has returned to the music scene and will debut a new EP in Solana Beach.
