So, Mister Cate landed a plumb position on the board of Voice of San Diego. (“Chris Cate – magnet for political fines,” Under the Radar, September 21, 2023) Maybe the great Cate ought to explain his nice donation to the reelection campaign of Sean Elo Rivera on the San Diego City Council. Why would the darling of SDGE make such a misplaced contribution?

Yeah, I have a question about your story, (“The Wreck of the A.C.E.,” Cover Story, September 21, 2023) What in the hell does A.C.E. stand for? That's the first question, the second question is how the hell do you pronounce it A, C, E? ACE? A period, C period, E period?
I mean, I read through the thing, what the hell is A.C.E.? Is it an abbreviation for something? How do you pronounce the damn thing? Is the boat the ACE? The A.C.E.? I mean what kind of bullshit... ridiculous.
