The Democrat Reader?
Good thing your rag is free. It is so biased against true Americans like President Trump. During his presidency, America was strong and proud. Numerous debunked scandals against him and constant harassment by the Democrats show your true passion against this great man. You print numerous letters (“Letters”, Feb 9 & 16, pages 4 & 1) and articles showing your TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) that reveal your bias.
It is so sad to see another hard copy magazine like yours take the leftist Socialist position throughout every edition. I suggest a neutral format or only the left will read it as the moderates and conservatives will not due to the lies and deception you present. Maybe rename your magazine The Democrat Reader, as that is your presentation and content.
Please become neutral or you will become extinct. Make America proud to read your magazine, put in honest articles and letters, or your readership will continue to decline.
Trump 2024
I love it when the crybaby liberals get their feelings hurt just by the mention of President Trump. It’s okay, softies, I can’t stand you and people like you either. Trump is the best president ever.
Moon phases and bird faces
Oh no, you’ve done it again! I wrote you about this same issue a few months ago, but apparently, you’re not paying attention. You cannot paste in moon-phase data from a previous year and have it be right. Your Outdoors column (“Manzanitas bloom, American robins head west, measure trees”, Outdoors, February 16, 2023) states that the moon is just shy of full phase, when it’s actually approaching new moon, which occurs February 19, a little after 11 pm. If whoever does the astronomy portion of the column can’t do any better than this, please find someone else who can. Misinformation is worse than no information!
Also, the photo you include, supposedly of an American Robin, isn’t. I’ve been seeing robins in my yard and the photo is not a robin. I got out a bird book and there are obvious features that don’t match with your photo. Robins don’t have red on the face and they do have white around the eye. I’m not a good enough birder to identify the bird in your photo, but surely you can find someone knowledgeable who can.
