Zach: No!
Bobby: He is not that bad. We are just trying to stay alive out there. It’s choppy today.
What has been the toughest surf skill to master?
Zach: Timing.
What is your favorite beach to surf?
Bobby: Imperial Beach for sure.
Have you ever gotten sick from the water in IB?
Bobby: Never ever. Not once. My son is 6 and surfs out here and he has never gotten sick either.
Is there a spot in San Diego that you don’t like to surf?
Bobby: Yeah, La Jolla. I don’t like all the sea lions and the animals. I mean appreciate them. I just don’t want to surf with them.
As a newbie to surfing, do you think you’ll keep it up?
Zack: Yeah, I am going to buy a board. I have been renting one.
What advice would you give new surfers?
Bobby: Go to the beach and get in the water.
How often do you go surfing?
Bobby: I try to get out 3-4 times a week
Over the last three years, have you seen a big progression in your skill level?
Bobby: Oh, yeah. You just have to keep going. The more you do it the better you are. Be habitual, baby!
