In the past nine months, just in three corners of Mission Valley East shopping area, the Corona virus has caused the devastation of no fewer than nine business.
Most of the businesses are out of business forever — gone, their employees — gone.
Yogurtland
The intersection at Friars Road and Frazee Road have seen all of these business closed: at Hazard Center on the southwest corner — The Smashburger, Yogurtland, and Hot Seat Salon.
Hot Seat Salon
Across Frazee Road, on the southeast corner: The Pure Salon and Spa, then right next door to it was the very popular restaurant San Sai – gone.
Pure Salon & Spa
On the North side of Friars Road in the Northeast corner near the Ralph's market: the Unleashed Pet store and a shoe repair store - gone. Owners and residents alike are hoping for a much better 2021.
