Sunday night knockoff
This is the lady cab driver who got kinda messed over when we had the articles on the Gaslamp and LiMandri called for a bunch of meetings over it, and its long term history. Part of the problem is I am long-term history.
Your Allen Glick article (“Allen Glick and the killing of Tamara Rand,” News Ticker, August 8) was missing one itsy-bitsy detail. The day that Tamara Rand got bumped off, and Dr. Rand found her in the kitchen, the timing of it was that the next day she was going to First American Title, I believe in Riverside, not the one here in San Diego, in order to turn in Glick with a ton of evidence, and the woman was an attorney. She was leaving in the morning and she got it the day before. I believe it was a Sunday evening.

Savoring Bill’s bacon
Hello to San Diego Reader and especially my aging mate, Bill Manson (“Racing Swifty’s Swine with Kevin Bacon, Brad Pig, and Kim Kardashing-ham,” Golden Dreams, July 7). Just catching up with some of your stories, Bill. Always love your quirky and perceptive take on life...hope you are keeping ok - your stories indicate you’re not doing too badly! (To San Diego editor - Bill and I were at school and Uni together and our families were quite close - lovely to feel his quirky take on life...)
