Harbor Police investigated a burglary that occurred aboard a vessel at the Sunroad Marina. The suspect broke a window, entered the vessel, ate and drank some food and then vandalized the interior. Harbor Police are still investigating leads on the possible suspect.
Harbor Police assisted a boater after they ran out of fuel and had to drop anchor in the Sweetwater Channel. Due to it being in the way of a large ship attempting to leave a nearby dock, Harbor Police side-tied the vessel to theirs and towed it to the nearby launch ramp.
Harbor Police stored two vessels that were in the A-9 Anchorage without a permit. The vessels were taken to a south bay storage facility.

Harbor Police contacted a female as she was holding on to a small float and attempting to swim across the main shipping channel to Coronado Island. She was taken into custody due to being under the influence of narcotics.

Harbor Police responded to a single vessel accident near the entrance to San Diego Bay. An occupant of the vessel sustained a spinal injury when the vessel went over a large wake at a high rate of speed.

Harbor police issued a citation to a boater who was at the Harbor Police guest slips without a valid permit.

Harbor Police responded to a vessel in distress near the Sheraton Hotel on Harbor Island. Harbor Police located a small power vessel that drifted into the rip-rap rocks when it lost power and towed it away from the rocks and back to its mooring ball at the A-3 Anchorage.
A charter fishing vessel came to the Harbor Police dock when they located a stow-away onboard the vessel. The subject was located by a crew member hiding in the v-berth shortly after they left the dock. Harbor Police took the subject into custody for being under the influence of narcotics and several other charges.
