Harbor Police responded to the Maritime Museum for a report of an accident involving the sailing vessel Californian. Harbor Police found that the Californian was moored next to the museum when a small sailing vessel struck its bow, damaging the rigging and spreader.
Harbor Police responded to the underside of the Sonar Bridge to investigate an act of vandalism. Harbor Police found graffiti spray painted on the bridge.

Harbor Police responded to the area of the National City Marine Terminal for a call of a boat taking on water. Harbor Police found the engine compartment was flooded and immediately towed the vessel back to the nearby launch ramp.

Harbor Police were flagged down while patrolling in Glorietta Bay by a subject aboard a vessel who lost engine power. Due to the subject’s vessel drifting into the secured area for the Naval Amphibious Base, Harbor Police towed the vessel to the nearby launch ramp.

Harbor Police responded to the Chula Vista Marina for a vessel that was found adrift within the entrance to the marina. Harbor Police recovered the small paddleboat and brought it to the impound dock to look for the owner.
Harbor Police were contacted by a subject in the Sunroad Marina that wanted to report harassment from another individual. Harbor Police documented it as a domestic violence incident.

Harbor Police contacted a subject in the A-5 Anchorage for not having a valid permit. The subject was taken into custody as he was found to have a felony warrant and was in possession of narcotics.

Harbor Police responded to a vessel that lost engine power and was being pushed by the wind into a naval security zone in South Bay. Due to it being in the way of a naval ship attempting to exit its dock, Harbor Police assisted the boater and towed it to the nearby launch ramp.
Harbor Police responded to the Silver Gate Yacht Club for a suspected abandoned vessel. Harbor Police located the small craft and impounded it. An investigation is being conducted to see if the vessel was stolen.

Harbor Police responded to a naval pier just off Coronado Naval Island for a Jet Ski collision. It was found that the operator lost control as it went over several large wakes and flipped over causing both occupants to be ejected. The Jet Ski was then pushed by the winds and currents into the pilings of the pier. There were no injuries.

Harbor Police impounded a vessel that was at the Harbor Police Guest Slips without a permit. The vessel owner was previously warned about the violation.

Harbor Police impounded a vessel that was found anchored in the A-9 Cruisers Anchorage without a valid permit. The vessel was towed to a South Bay storage facility.

Notifications were made to all regional environmental partners. The US Coast Guard responded to the scene and are assisting in the investigation.
