Harbor Police contacted a subject swimming towards the main shipping channel near the cruise ship terminal. The subject told Harbor Police that he wanted to swim to Hawaii. Harbor Police transported him back to land.

Harbor Police investigated a small boat that was stolen from a pier near the downtown Embarcadero.

Harbor Police investigated an accident where a subject was aboard the Patriot Jet Boat ride in north SD Bay. During a high-speed maneuver, the subject became unrestrained by the seatbelt and was thrown into the vessel’s aisle. The subject sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

Harbor Police assisted a boater in the Coronado Cays whose vessel was adrift in the marina because of a fouled prop. Harbor Police side-tied the vessel and placed it back in its slip so the owner could clear the prop.

Harbor Police responded to a jet ski accident in the South Bay. It was found the jet ski operator struck a buoy within the main shipping channel. After striking the buoy, the operator was ejected into the water. He was not injured.

Harbor Police assisted a boater who was having problems navigating his sailboat back into a slip at a Glorietta Bay marina. Harbor Police eventually side-tied the vessel to their vessel and placed his vessel into his slip.

Harbor Police issued citations to two boaters who were anchored in the A-1 La Playa Cove without a valid permit.

Harbor Police responded to a physical altercation between two subjects at Marina Cortez. It was found that one subject was operating his vessel while intoxicated and crashed into several vessels while attempting to dock. The subject was taken into custody for several violations and Harbor Police completed an accident report.
