“When I saw the water today, I called it dinky,” Belasco laughs.
“It’s small and consistent, but the water is warm,” Johnson adds.
I asked them if being the only women out there was ever a problem
“You know, if anything they’re pretty nice, they usually just let you take waves,” Belasco says.
“We were just talking about how we would like to sit out there and just talk and have coffee,” smiled Johnson.
“And hug the ocean,” Belasco adds, laughing.
“We are not big wave surfers,” says Johnson.
