At about 1:30 p.m. on Saturday (January 21), some hikers spotted a muscular young man in running shorts carrying a large wrapped package up Mount Woodson. The rainy weather seemed to make the almost-two-mile trip on the paved road to the top less crowded than usual. Less crowds means less wait time to get a picture on Potato Chip Rock.
At 2 p.m., the muscular man unwrapped his package — the life-sized cardboard cutout of Donald Trump — and jumped to the flake of rock so he could have his picture taken. Immediately after, he was gone. As he headed down the trail, an admiring girl asked him how much that Trump cutout cost. He replied that it cost him $40 on Amazon and kept running down the trail with a smile.
