— HP located a vessel that was adrift near the A-1 Anchorage off of Shelter Island. The vessel was impounded and later returned to the owner.

HP also used their vessel to assist dewatering the vessel due to the amount of water that was aboard already and continuing to enter. It was found that a large hose came off of one of the drive engines.

HP and Tow Boat US were able to stop the vessel by fouling the propeller with a line. The subjects were not injured.
