Celebrate Fat Tuesday with Jazz Live and the Euphoria Brass Band, featuring Sue Palmer and Leonard Patton, with Ron Bocian, Drew Miller, Steve Ebner, April West, David Jackson, J.P. Balmat, and Wayne Rice at City College (14th & C Street) at 8 p.m. $10 general admission.

Wednesday 10
The Joshua White Trio with Dean Hulett and Dan Schnelle play the Rancho Bernardo Library (17110 Bernardo Center Drive) from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Free… The Nathan Hubbard Trio with Branson NeJame and Jerome Salazar play Bar Three Piece (3054 University Avenue) from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. No cover, 21+… Gilbert Castellanos has two gigs at Panama 66 (1450 El Prado) beginning when he hosts the Young Lions Series from 6 to 8 p.m. Then he leads the jam session from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. All ages, no cover charge… Allison Adams Tucker and Danny Green play in duo at the Encinitas Family Library (540 Cornish Drive) from 12 to 1 p.m. Free.
