— HP were dispatched to a dinghy that was a hazard to navigation near Shelter Island. HP located the halfway-submerged dingy and transported it to the impound dock.
— HP responded to the A-1 Anchorage (La Playa Cove) and issued a total of four citations for boaters illegally anchored.
— HP responded to the bait barges for a sea lion that was trapped in one of the bait tanks. It was found that an unknown person trapped the sea lion inside the tank by nailing it shut after it had jumped into it. HP had the bait company employees respond and set the sea lion free. USCG, HP, Fish & Wildlife and the bait company are investigating this crime.
— HP responded to Pier 32 in National City to contact a subject aboard a vessel that had an outstanding warrant. The subject was contacted and taken to County Jail.
— HP responded to a sewage leak at the pump-out station located at the A-3 laurel Street Anchorage. It was found that a pipe was broken and when the pump was used, the sewage went into the water. HP Dispatch immediately notified all the required agencies who had personnel respond to fix the pipe. It is believed that less than 10 gallons were spilled into the bay.

While the vessel was attached to the pier for some scheduled maintenance, a subject boarded the vessel and used items found on the boat to break into it. Several items were taken and there was extensive damage to the vessel. HP Detectives have good leads on the suspect.

— HP were patrolling in Glorietta Bay when they observed a subject in the water next to a kayak. HP found the subject had capsized after going through a large boat wake. HP assisted him back to the dock.
— HP were called to a Hornblower vessel at the dock to investigate a disturbance, which turned out to be a domestic violence incident. One of the subjects was taken to County Jail for domestic violence and violation of a restraining order.
