Julian McMillan filed a suit in federal court November 17 claiming he did not get the promised bonus for playing in the DraftKings fantasy football game. The suit is a putative class action suit, hoping to represent others who allegedly did not get the advertised bonus.
Through his attorney Ahren Tiller, McMillan complains that he was led to believe in an ad that if he put down $100 to play fantasy football through DraftKings, the company would match his $100. But he only got $4, says McMillan.
He charges fraud and violations of the California business code.
