Stone Liberty Station two-year anniversary celebration: The Decatur Road wing of Stone's brewing empire celebrates two years all day Friday with a deep roster of brewed-on-site beers, including a special 2nd Anniversary brew. Stone World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station, 2816 Historic Decatur Road #116, San Diego, CA 92106, 11:30am-10pm

Sorrento Valley Beer Festival: A first year "celebration of the art and science of craft beer," small enough to sell out fast (and soon after this copy was turned in, it was learned that the fest has sold out –Ed.). Cellar 3 grand opening: Green Flash makes its presence felt in Poway, opening a large new facility devoted to its new line of beers that will test the limits of barrel-aging and yeast experimentation. Kings of the Craft Preview & Beer Tasting: Stone Liberty Station will host a preview of Kings of the Craft, a six-part documentary telling the story of San Diego craft brewing due to air on KPBS later this spring. $35 admission includes tasting flight, hors d'oeuvres, and live music. Brew Rendezvous: Sixteen local brewers will be serving beer alongside food provided by a dozen local restaurants using ingredients sourced by local farms at this event to benefit Community Health Improvement Partners. $60 at the door to enjoy many food and beer pairings.
