The Nathan Hubbard Trio with Reka Parker on piano and Mackenzie Leighton on bass play a free, noon-time concert at the Lyceum Theatre (79 Horton Plaza).

Tuesday 3
Bassist Ben Wanicur leads the 3rd Space Underground Jam Session (4610 Park Boulevard) with Joshua White on piano and Julien Cantelm on drums from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. for a $5 cover.

Wednesday 4
The Jazz 88 Blues Jam is going down at Proud Mary’s (5500 Kearny Mesa Road) from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. with Mark Augustin and special guests no cover charge … trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos presents the Young Lions Series at Croce’s Park West (2760 Fifth Avenue) featuring Scott Roberts at 7:00 p.m. for a $5 cover. Castellanos plays the first set then heads to the Latin jam session at Seven Grand (3054 University Avenue) at 9:00 p.m. 21+, no cover charge.
