A musical adaptation of underground cartoonist Trina Robbins’s comic Eternally Bad: Goddesses with Attitude, debuts at the Moxie Theatre on El Cajon Boulevard and runs through August 2. DJ events include the Heroes vs. Villains Comic-Con After-Party at Rich’s in Hillcrest, and a Venture Brothers Mixer at the Hilton’s Odysea Lounge.
Saturday features the San Diego Symphony performing Michael Giacchino’s original score for Star Trek: Into Darkness, as the film screens behind them at Embarcadero Marina Park South. Over at Symphony Hall, the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses presents all-new arrangements of franchise music courtesy of Nintendo composer Koji Kondo.
