Monday 2
Vocalist Allison Adams Tucker brings her trio with pianist Danny Green and drummer Julien Cantelm into the Lyceum Theatre (79 Broadway Circle) for a free, noontime concert… Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Jen Shyu with special guest Mark Dresser appears at UC San Diego’s the Loft (911 Lyman Lane) at 7:00 p.m. for another free show.

Tuesday 3
The monthly jam session at 3rd Space (4610 Park Avenue) is back, featuring the house band led by bassist Ben Wanicur with pianist Jason Shattil, saxophonist Ian Tordella, and drummer Charlie Weller. Starts at 8:00 p.m. goes to 11:00 p.m. A $5 cover goes straight to the musicians.

Wednesday 4
Trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos pulls a double-duty shift, starting his night by hosting the Young Lions Series at Croce’s Park West (2760 Fifth Avenue) this week featuring Scott Roberts. Castellanos plays the first set, then heads to the Latin jam session at Seven Grand (3054 University) where the music starts at 9:00 p.m. 21+ no cover, musicians bring your instruments!
