The New Seaforth found some local bottom-hugging Yellowtail on their 1/2 Day AM run with 15 Anglers aboard. They finished the morning with 7 California Yellowtail, 1 California Scorpionfish and 1 California Halibut. These local Yellows are biting on the bottom now, either by yoyo jig or reverse dropper-loop with a sardine.
The San Diego 3/4 Day run south with 29 Anglers aboard reported 55 California Yellowtail, 1 Barred Sand Bass, 13 Rockfish and 12 Pacific Bonito in the gunnysacks by days end.
