February 25 dock totals

25 anglers aboard the Malihini 3/4-day run caught 28 yellowtail, 18 rockfish, 3 lingcod and 15 bonito.

The Premier 1/2-day AM run with 22 anglers aboard returned to the dock with 122 rockfish and 1 lingcod in the gunnysacks.

Cow Yellowfin Tuna over 300 lbs.

35 anglers fishing aboard the San Diego 3/4-day run boated 7 bonito, 55 yellowtail and 20 rockfish.

The New Seaforth 1/2-day AM run carrying 11 Anglers reported 1 yellowtail, 31 kelp bass and 6 bonito caught. They went back out with 33 anglers on their 1/2-day PM run for 1 bonito and 34 kelp bass.

The Red Rooster III carrying 23 anglers on a 16-day trip to the Hurricane Bank area just finished up with a good number of yellowfin tuna over 200 pounds caught. They should be rolling in about 8 a.m., Sunday, March 1, and if anyone wants to see some cow tuna up close, head on down to Lee Palm Sportfishing, right there next to Point Loma Seafood. The picture on the left is a shot of one that made the 300 club.

The Excel is making a few 3 day runs in the middle of long range season and doing quite well along the beach toward Colonet for yellowtail and lingcod.
